OverviewOmega Europe GmbH, also trading as Omega 958, is a subsidiary of Omega Insurance Holdings Limited. Based in Cologne, it offers clients access to all of the Omega group’s services. Omega 958 is able to facilitate the placement and servicing of reinsurance business with Syndicate 958 at Lloyd's. The team in the Omega 958 offices in Cologne offers a single point of contact for all enquiries relating to reinsurance business of either a proportional or non-proportional basis. They will be able to inform clients/brokers of the rates, terms and conditions offered by the Omega group's underwriters and provide confirmation of the line that will be underwritten by Syndicate 958. Following the placement of business with Syndicate 958, the team at Omega 958 in Cologne again offer a single point of contact for delivering documentation, wordings and accounting information. Clients will be able to contact Omega 958 on all matters, including the processing of all premiums and claims. All reinsurance business accepted through Omega 958 will be underwritten by Syndicate 958 at Lloyd's. Syndicate 958 is managed by Omega Underwriting Agents Limited, a Lloyd's managing agency based in London that is regulated by Lloyd's and the FSA. Syndicate 958 was given a Financial Strength Rating from A.M. Best Company, Inc. of A (Excellent) and an Issuer Credit Rating of a+ (Excellent) on 16 December 2004.
